Caitlin Arce {Denver Colorado}
Hello Dear One Welcome,
I came to this work mostly by accident. I like to say that this work picked me. I was working as a psychotherapist for children who had experienced trauma, and I was completely burnt out. Something deep inside told me to sign up to study with the Wise Womb Medicine Path, even though no part of that plan made sense to my analytical brain.
As soon as I entered into this work, I thought I had made a mistake. I wasn’t sure I could handle it. I was the furthest from embodied you could be- awkward, clumsy, even afraid to touch my own body, to give myself healing touch. I had been so conditioned by fear and shame of my body, I didn’t know how to begin. I figured that if there was so much fear present, it must be because I had uncovered something powerful, so I kept going, in spite of my apprehension.
Slowly, I overcame my fear. As I did, I uncovered so much power and wisdom in my body. I unlocked trauma I didn’t know I was holding and released it, for good. My body miraculously recovered from chronic health conditions. I felt more alive. I felt more connected to the earth, like I truly belonged here.
I was so touched by my own work on this path, that I eventually quit working as a full-time psychotherapist and decided to just offer this type of healing work.
I found that therapy, without incorporating the body and the spirit, just wasn’t enough. As I delved into womb healing, the womb became my teacher. She gave me messages I never would have believed years ago, yet now know to be true.
I want to share those messages with you. Not just tell you, but support you in hearing them directly from your own body.
As a womb healer and psychotherapist, I weave these practices together to support you in feeling deeply held. Over the years, I’ve picked up additional modalities that have built off my wisdom as a Wise Womb Healer, including Cranialsacral Therapy, herbalism, Reiki, and Tantra.
I specialize in supporting women and non-binary folks in healing from trauma stored in the body, in addition to addressing physical concerns, such as PCOS, fibroids, and irregular cycles. I also specialize in pre-natal and post-partum care to support recovery and proper re-alignment of the womb.
I teach classes on these topics in the Denver area, as well as host retreats on topics of the Divine Feminine and plant spirit medicine.
If you’d like to be in touch, phone, e-mail, or joining one of my classes are all great ways for us to connect. It would be my deepest joy to support you in feeling safe, healthy, and loved in your body.
With Love, Caitlin Arce
