Princess Manuel {Bellflower, CA}
Hello and welcome! I'm Princess Manuel, a Shamanic Practitioner, Somatic Womb Alchemist, Herbalist, and the founder of LUYA Healing and Herbs.
Rooted in Carson, CA, my journey is deeply influenced by my heritage as a descendant of Filipino traditional healers, farmers, nurses, and community organizers. Driven by a need to heal present-day and generational traumas, I reconnected with the earth and its healing powers.
My path to stewardship and nature protection was ignited at the Soul Fire Farm's BIPOC Farmers Immersion Program in 2017, where I discovered my passion for herbs.
This led me to study under Karen Rose, a Master Herbalist and the founder of Sacred Vibes Apothecary.
In 2021, I completed the Sacred Vibes' Spiritual Herbalism Apprenticeship, gaining 500 hours of academic study, client work, formulary, and hands-on experience.
Through a transformative ceremony, my teacher Karen guided me as I was initiated into my role as a Shaman, enabling me to traverse the physical and spirit planes for deeper clarity and insight.
This journey continued as I was led to apprentice with Naomi Amaya Love of Earth Oracle Arts.
There, I completed two intensive programs, Temple of the Womb Apprenticeship in 2022, deepening my connection to my womb space and healing in earth centered shamanic traditions.
In 2023, I further expanded my practice by completing the Somatic Womb Alchemy Apprenticeship with Naomi Love, to support women, femmes, and non-binary individuals in healing womb-related traumas, both collective and personal.
In addition to my shamanic and herbal practices, I am a licensed Mental Health Clinician in NY, providing decolonial tele-health therapy. I integrate Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed therapy, narrative therapy, and other modalities to help individuals navigate oppressive systems and reconnect with their true selves.
In my downtime, I engage in Filipino martial arts, Muay Thai, and care for my lovebird and cat. I find solace in nature—whether by the ocean, mountains, or forests—and cherish developing deep, meaningful connections and experiencing life’s beautiful moments.
My approach is shaped by a spiritual love ethic, transnational feminism, and a decolonial framework, through which I support clients in reclaiming their lives and finding joy amidst traumas.
Utilizing ancestral technologies, herbal traditions, meditative visioning, shamanic journeying, and psychosomatic practices, I guide my clients toward thriving and transformation.
If you feel a call and alignment to work with me, please reach out.
Many blessings to you!
Princess Manuel
